This guide will walk you through the steps to register your own Starknet ID, making your transactions smoother and building a single, recognizable identity across the entire Starknet ecosystem.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

  • A compatible wallet (Braavos or ArgentX)
  • ETH available for bridging over to Starknet
  • Access to a bridging service (like Orbiter Finance or the official Starknet Bridge)

Step 1: Bridge ETH to Starknet

  1. Go to your preferred bridging service (Orbiter Finance or the Starknet Bridge).
  2. Connect your Ethereum wallet.
  3. Enter the amount of ETH you want to bridge.
  4. Confirm the transfer and wait for it to process.
  5. Check that the ETH has appeared in your Starknet wallet.

Step 2: Connect Your Starknet Wallet

  1. Go to starknet.id.
  2. Click "Connect Wallet."
  3. Choose either Braavos or ArgentX from the list.

  3. Select how long you want to register it for (from 1 to 10 years).
  4. Review the total cost, including gas fees.
  5. Click "Register" and confirm the action in your wallet.
  6. Wait for the confirmation on the blockchain.

Step 4: Set Up Your Identity
